Celebrate Black History Month with a gala family program featuring cultural performances including the Universal Dance & Drum Ensemble, authors Josephine Adams and Ambition the Poet and singers Rex and Dawana Richardson at Willingboro Public Library on Sat., Feb. 2 at 2 p.m., co-sponsored by Zeta Phi Beta sorority, Zeta Delta Zeta Chapter. This program for all ages is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Refreshments will be served.
Celebrate African American literary creativity at Willingboro Public Library with the African American Read In Chain on Sun., Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority will share their favorite readings with the public in this free program for all ages. Refreshments will be served. No registration is required. The library will be open only for this special program.
In person registration begins for the Winter/Spring series on Wed., Jan. 16 at 10am. Literacy New Jersey, Burlington County will again offer free conversation practice in English. If you are interested, please call the reference desk at the library, or Literacy New Jersey at 609-877-5566.
