Willingboro Public Library will hold its third annual African Cultural Festival on Sat., Aug. 6 from 12-4 p.m. The festival will feature musicians and performers such as world renowned vocalists the Liberian Women’s Chorus for Change, musician Johnson Kolawole of Nigeria, Liberian master of ceremonies Rev. Charles Levi Martin, and keyboardist Dr. C. Edouard Ward. African films will be screened, food and craft vendors will sell their wares and face painting for kids will be available.
We have free passes for borrowing on your library card to twelve great museums: Grounds for Sculpture; Garden State Children's Museum; African American Museum, Philadelphia; Camden Children's Garden; Academy of Natural Sciences; Battleship NJ; University of Pennsylvania Museum; Museum of the American Revolution; Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts; Old Barracks Museum, Trenton; Eastern Penetentiary; NJ State Parks.
