Program: Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

Day, Date & Time: Wed., Dec. 9, 11 a.m.

Ages: 18 mos.-4 yrs.

Registration:  Begins Nov. 16

Toddlers, visit the library and listen to the story Chicka Chicka Boom Boom written by Bill Martin, Jr. & John Archambault. Afterwards, enjoy alphabet soup, crackers and play time.

 

Program: Teen and Tween Create-A-Gift Workshop

Day, Date & Time: Sat., Dec. 12, 3:30 p.m.

Grades: 5-12

Registration: Begins Nov. 28

Don't spend your hard-earned money buying holiday gifts!  Come to the library and make beautiful homemade gifts to take home.  You can make your own jewelry, candle holders, and more.

 

Program: Sunday Book Party

Day, Date & Time: Sun., Dec. 13, 2 p.m.

Ages: 4-10

Registration: Begins Nov. 29, Dec. 28, Feb. 7

Join your library friends for a Sunday afternoon of stories, crafts and snacks.  Each book party will spark your imagination as you enjoy story time adventures and fun, creative crafts.  Light refreshments will be served.

 

Program: Pre-Teen Game On!

Day, Date & Time: Mon., Dec. 14, 5:30 p.m.

Grades: 5-6

Registration: Not required

Take a game break!  Come to the Children's Room and kick back with a game of cards, Twister, a board game or jump on the Wii and test your gaming skills.  All pre-teens are welcome to drop in and get your game on!

 

Program: Make & Take Craft

Day, Date & Time: Fri., Dec.18, 3:30 - 5 p.m.

Grades: Pre-K-4

Registration: Not required

Kids, visit the library anytime between 3:30 - 5 p.m. and make and take a craft! Art supplies will be available for you to get creative and stimulate your imagination. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served.

 

Family Programs

Program: Holiday Caroling: Memorial Upper Elementary Students and Choir

Day, Date & Time: Thurs., Dec. 10, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Everyone Welcome

Enjoy the musical talents of Memorial Upper Elementary School's students and choir.  The students will be entertaining library customers with classic holiday carols.

 

Program: Holiday Craft

Day, Date & Time: Sat., Dec. 12, 3 p.m.

Registration:  Begins Nov. 25

Join Myra Moore in crocheting and making holiday crafts. Learn to make a nice but inexpensive gift for a loved one this season. All ages are welcome.

Program: Family Fun Night! Holiday Concert and Craft

Day, Date & Time: Mon., Dec. 21, 7 p.m.

Everyone Welcome

Registration: Begins Dec. 7

Come and enjoy a holiday concert and craft night for the entire family!  Denzel Garrick, teen piano aficionado, will entertain you with holiday classics while you create homemade holiday ornaments and enjoy warm winter treats.
