Program: Tiny Tots Story Time

Day, Date & Time: Wed., Nov. 4, 18, 25, 10:30 a.m.

Ages: 18 mos.-4 yrs.

Registration: Ongoing

Gather at the library for story time and listen as you are read to with friends.  Toddlers will also enjoy learning finger plays, munching on snacks and using parent interactive toys after story time.

 

Program: Sunday Book Party:  Jan Brett's Honey...Honey...Lion!

Day, Date & Time: Sun., Nov. 8, 2-3 p.m.

Ages: 4-10

Registration: Begins Nov. 1

Enjoy the story Honey...Honey...Lion!  Learn all about Jan Brett's visit to Botswana and the true legend of the honey guide.  You'll also learn more about Jan Brett's other wonderful books!

 

Program:  Yoga for Tweens

Day, Date & Time: Thurs., Nov. 12, 4 p.m.

Grades: 5-6

Registration: Begins Oct. 29

Join us at the library for an introduction to Yoga.  Linda Cope, Librarian and Yoga Therapist, will teach basic poses and breathing techniques that you can use anywhere and anytime to achieve peace and balance in your hectic life, both at school and at home.

 

Program: Imagination Station

Day, Date, & Time: Thurs., Nov. 12, 7 p.m.

Ages: 18 mos.-4 yrs.

Registration:  Begins Dec. 10

Adults, expand your child's imagination as you visit play stations with your little one at the library. Independent play will keep them busy as you and your child interact with hands on activities. Program: Snack is Back!

 

Day, Date, & Time: Tues., Nov. 17, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Grades: Pre-K-6

Registration: Not required

Calling all kids! Enjoy a snack while "hitting the books" @ the library!

 

Program: Pre-Teen Game On!

Day, Date & Time: Mon., Nov. 23, 5:30 p.m.

Grades: 5-6

Registration: Not required

Take a game break!  Come to the Children's Room and kick back with a game of cards, Twister, a board game or jump on the Wii and test your gaming skills.  All pre-teens are welcome to drop in and get your game on!

 

Family Programs

Program: Family Fun Night: Healthy Snacking and Board Gaming for Parents, Teens, Tweens, and In-Betweens

Day, Date & Time: Wed., Nov. 4, 6:30 p.m.

Registration: Begins Oct. 21

Who doesn't love a good snack?  But do you know how to prepare delicious snacks that are also good for you?  Join us in the Café as Lisa Nghien teaches us how to prepare great tasting, easy to grab snacks.  Then it's off to enjoy those snacks while playing board games with your family.
