sherriesmith1Sherrie Smith will read from her new poetry book Selah: Stop and Think on Wed., Apr. 1 at 7 p.m. at Willingboro Public Library. Register now for this free program, open to the public. Refreshments will be served and copies of her book will be available for purchase and signing. Sherrie Smith has appeared frequently at the library to lead poetry writing and spoken word workshops. She is a teacher in the Pemberton School District.

zooblercovertmThurs., Apr. 2, 7 pm. Willingboro resident, Columbia University School of Journalism student and self-taught Objective C developer Kevin Tarr will lead us from the inception of his incredibly cool iPhone game, “Zoobler,” to fixing the last bug.

Keith Henley as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. PDF Print E-mail

henley2web “Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.,” will be presented as a one-man show at Willingboro Public Library on Sat., Apr. 11 at 2 p.m. to kick off National Library Week. Featuring Keith Henley of the American Historical Theatre, the presentation will bring to life the Nobel Prize-winning civil rights leader. Free and open to the public, this family program requires no registration. The show is offered through the Horizon Speakers Bureau of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
