Meet author Gloria Harbin at Willingboro Public Library on Wed., Mar. 17 at 7 p.m. Harbin is the author of 30 Cents and a Prayer, an autobiographical story of breaking free from an abusive marriage to become an ordained minister. Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing. This free program is open to the public. Register beginning Mar. 3.
"I have given my life to God for over the past 36 years," says Harbin. "My testimony has given me an inner deliverance where the real struggle lies." Gloria Harbin is the Director of Christian Education and Empowerment Ministry at Ford Memorial Temple in Philadelphia. A native of Toccoa, Georgia, she attended North Georgia Vocational and Technical College before receiving her B.A. degree in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania. 30 Cents and a Prayer is her first book.
