Alice Domineske, a retired librarian, has been interested in painting and drawing since she attended children's art classes at Pittsburgh's Carnegie Museum. The paintings called "Inspired by Books" began when Mrs. Domineske took a course in fabric collage given by Ellen Barnett. Each collage she created reflected the spirit of the book she was currently reading.
